Apples are bright and bountiful in the South during the fall, so we love to whip up recipes that feature this juicy, seasonal fruit. Chef Shun Li, Pastry Chef at the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans, perfected this apple galette with a flaky crust. It's a beautiful dessert recipe that'll impress your holiday guests – and it tastes extra delicious when topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Seasonal Fruit Galette
Apples (filling can be any seasonal fruit)
8 oz. cake flour
8 oz. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
